WOW!

First BSU game....kids had a lot of team spirit
The twins with the twins :)

I can't believe it has been two weeks already since I posted last. It has been so busy here that my days are all mushed together. Lets see what has happened....

We have made it through 2 full weeks of school. They are all still getting up easily and seem to be adjusting really well to their schedules. Autumn is struggling a little (we expected it) but I will be meeting with the counselor soon to see if we can get her some help. She is really enjoying playing the cello and can't wait to show off what she has learned already. Audrey and Keisha are well organized and seem to be doing homework all the time. Jalen already has made a mess of his binder, I am sure his desk looks the same, but he is doing well.

Keisha finished her last drivers ed class and will be getting her permit this Wednesday. Scary to think that for the next 6 months she will be driving all of us around. She is excited and can't wait for the opportunity to help drive her siblings around.

Keisha also starts her dance classes tonight. She took a summer hip hop class and really enjoyed it. We found a different dance school where the teachers are the ones that teach dance team at the high school. She is hoping that maybe in the next couple of years, she will be good enough to join the high school dance team.

Jalen started baseball, which he loves. He is definitely going to be a natural like Audrey.
Audrey started softball, which is making life a little hectic. They both have practices twice a week, luckily on the same day at the same school. Games are both on Saturday mornings but so far they have been across town from each other. Chris and I are going to try to rotate which one we take so we can watch them both.

Audrey and Autumn also started girl scouts this last week. They go to meeting 2 times a month in the evenings at their school. We are excited to have a new troop this year and it seems like they are going to have a lot of fun. Now I just need to get rolling and get all their patches sewed onto their vest...ugh.

Autumn has has some of her yearly appointments recently and so far everything looks good. We do need to get an x-ray sometime this week to check the length of her shunt. We were told that kids who grow normally have to get it extended when the are 3-5 years old. Autumn, of course has always been very small for her age. Well she is finally  starting to catch up, which means we may need surgery soon. I keep thinking how I don't want her to have to go through another one yet, but I have decided I want to get it over with. This may be the hardest of all her surgeries because they will have to open up her head and abdomen. She will be proud because that will make it 7 surgeries she has had. (She is very proud and likes to show off her scars)

Chris is finishing up his fall softball games. We have 2 left. He has decided to try to play flag football this time around and has joined a team that he is excited to be on. Hopefully he doesn't hurt himself, but it should be entertaining.

Hopefully these next couple of weeks go smoothly.
