Ember's Fall Break

We had a wonderful 4 day weekend with Ember. She got here Wednesday night (Oct 13) and we tried to have everyone spend time with her.

She stayed the night at Aunt Mandy's house the first night and got to help out with Taylor and Marissa. Thursday, Chris and Rowena did a little work in the morning then headed over and helped with the girls and started some crafts. They loved getting to spend the whole day together and decided to do it Friday too. I had a chance Friday to hang out in the morning with Chris and Ember and we did some Halloween shopping.They then met up with Rowena and went to see Toy Story 3.

Friday night was a girls night ( Jalen went to his dads and Chris on a bike ride) so we had a dance party. I didn't last near as long as the girls but we were all worn out by the time we were done. Then we watched The Princess and the Frog to get us calmed down for bed.

Saturday morning we all got to go watch Audrey play softball. Ember and Autumn kept playing their own game on the field next to ours and were having a blast.

Saturday afternoon we headed over to Dan and Rowena's to carve pumpkins and watch the BSU game. We also made spider nests and Christmas ornaments. We then went home and danced some more.

Sunday morning was a beautiful day and we got some good pictures of the kids before Ember had to leave for Utah.

After that weekend I really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. It was wonderful to have all of us together and get to see everyone. 

We will miss Ember, it seemed too short of a visit. She will be here again for a short Christmas break ( that seems so far away, but I know it will come fast). We have a lot going on in between now and then and are going to be extra busy.
