This week was calmer, but still busy. We had dance classes, tumbling classes, doctors appointments, and Audrey got her braces on.
For art day we made 4th of July Pinwheel.
Family movie night was Kung Fu Panda. We had stir fry and apple dumplings. (no pictures sorry)
Instead of doing a field trip during the day we took the kids to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. We watched the Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged. We made a family sized picnic and laughed so hard. Everyone loved it and wants to go again.
The kids went with their dad for the weekend so Chris, Ember & I planned a hiking trip with some friends. This was suppose to be an easy 2 mile hike but when we got to what was suppose to be the trail head it was covered in about 8 feet of snow. We decided to head down the mountain, below the snow line and camp for the night.
The second day we decided to try and hike to the lake from the bottom. Little did we know that this would be a 4.5 hour trip straight up a mountain, through some snow and nowhere near trail. It was beautiful when we got there and great to relax for awhile.

| See the snow by our feet? We used it as a cooler. |

The hike back out was Ember's favorite part. We had to climb straight up the side of the mountain to the ridge then back down some game trails to our car. IT was a crazy hike and we are all scraped up on our leg and arms. I am still really sore and my knees really don't want to cooperate right now. All in all it was fun and some good exercise.
