Out with the old

I love to cook. I like to experiment with new recipes and have found an amazing assortment that the whole house loves. The only issue is my old stove. It still cooks just fine but is really falling apart.

The buttons have started falling off and so we got creative and glued a couple of stickers to hold them in.

The oven door hasn't had a spring in it since we moved in. If you need to get something heavy out of the oven you need two people or the door would sit on the floor. Because of this, the door also didn't seal anymore and all the hot air comes up and out. The knobs on the front become hot and our house is like a sauna. I could never really use it in the summer as it is already hard enough to keep the upstairs cool when its 90+ degrees outside.

So we searched. And I think I found the perfect one.We didn't get it for Valentines day, it just happened to be delivered and installed today. I am so excited to try it out tonight!!!

My favorite thing about it is the middle burner. We bought a griddle/grill to make pancakes & sandwiches! EEK! I love new toys! Tonight I will use it for the first time to make our yummy surf and turf valentines dinner!
