Summer 2012: Week 5

You can tell when we hit the half way point of summer. Things finally start slowing down a little and the kids start to get lazy.

Sunday night we went out to the Parma drive in. We watched Men in Black 3 and the Avengers. We ended up taking Ashlyn so we had to take two cars. It worked well though because we had the truck to sit in too.

Monday they all had a dentist appointment. Ember was the only one who had a couple of cavities and needed some sealants. She will be getting everything taken care of this week.

Tuesday for art day we made 4th of July things.

Wednesday it was the kids year to spend with their dad so they left early and went to a movie. Chris had an all day rock concert to go to and Ember decided she wanted to go with him. (which she was talking about for 3 days afterwards she had so much fun!) So I had a WHOLE day of all me.

Thursday morning Chris went to work and called me about an hour later asking if we could go camping a day early. I got my butt into gear and we made it out of town by 3 Thursday. But by the time Saturday rolled around we were ready to head back home. It was nice because we had a whole extra day to get things down around the house.

Movies watched: The Grey, Men in Black 3, The Avengers, Valentines Day

This week is Ember's last here. Its a hard week and we are going to try to keep busy to not have to think about her leaving. She has a couple of dentist appointments and we have lots of fun things planned.
