Vacation 2011: Day 2

I didn't get this posted like I wanted, I wasn't feeling well last night and couldn't sit in front of a computer.

We let the kids sleep in and then I made them a yummy Sunday breakfast. We sat around for quite awhile..must have been one of those days...then decided to go to Tubbs Hill. It is basically a forested island in the middle of the city. It has a trail system ,beaches, rocks to jump off of, a rope swing (that we couldn't find), and a suspended bridge. We started on the trail in hopes of finding the rope swing and a good beach. We found a good  beach to stop for awhile and swim. We then proceeded around the rest of the island.

We got back to the house and worked on getting everyone fed. Then it was a night of hanging around the house. Ember and Audrey took the dogs for a walk to explore more of our area. Keisha sat on the front porch reading. Jalen and Autumn hung around with us and our friends (they have a 4 month old that all of us adore). I went to bed early but I hear there was a fire and some smores. The kids are all still sleeping which means they stayed up late again.

We are headed today to Spokane or maybe Sandpoint.
