Vacation 2011: Day 3

Today we took the kids to Spokane. We got laughed at when we told our friends what we were doing. The comment made was "going to Spokane is like us coming to Boise and wanting to go to Nampa." But we really enjoyed ourselves.

We took the kids to Riverfront Park. We took the dogs and played with them while the kids rode the 102 year old carousel. They took a gondola ride over Spokane Falls. We had lunch there and had some fun with the seagulls. We went to the giant red wagon, fed the trash eating goat sculpture, and got yummy ice cream.
On the "Big Blue Bridge" headed into the park

First time around (they went a few)

They had to get a little wet too :)

Walking back

Then when we got home it was down to the lake for some swimming (in between the rain).

Today is Silverwood. Ember and Keisha went to bed at a decent time so they could get there right when it opens. Now we will see if that will actually happen ;)
