Where has the time gone?

I can't believe it is almost March. Not that I'm complaining (come on Spring!).

There hasn't been a lot of excitement around here. It has been really cold, for a really long time. No snow, just cold.

Chris and I were able to drive to Utah and see Ember dance in her recital. This was the first one we have ever watched and I am glad we did. We spent a wonderful evening afterward with her and drove home the next day. Definitely not the time of year to be driving though. It took us an extra hour to get home due to a storm that was kind of scary.

Everyone here is just doing the normal. I got sick for about three weeks and was really struggling to want to do anything. Luckily no one else has gotten it quite as bad as I have, though Keisha is pretty sick right now.

Keisha is getting ready to go on a choir tour with her A Capella group to Seattle. To get them ready for that, and to get them closer as a group, they had an overnight retreat. They then got to practice by singing at St Johns. It was wonderful to take Chris to see where I had gone as a kid.

The end of the calm months is very near.

Chris has volunteered this season to be Audrey's softball coach. That is a lot of extra work for both of us, but will be very rewarding. She is on 2 teams this season, one traveling, one local so it will be busy.

Autumn will be starting her Ride for Joy again in the next month. She loves those horses!

I have joined a running moms group. It will be great to get out and meet some new people and get my butt back into shape before summer!

We have just registered all the girls for high school. Scary to think it will be Keisha's last year. Audrey is going to Mtn. View, while Autumn will be going to Meridian Academy. She seems to do really well in the small school environment and this school has 175 kids total for four grades. We are excited.

4 out of 5 kids in high school....how does that happen so fast?
